HART, ELIZABETH (LIBBY) ANN It is with sadness that the Hart family announces the passing of their Special star, Elizabeth ( Libby) Ann Hart. On Jan 25th, 2008 at the age of 57. Libby was the daughter of the late Donald Edward and Isabel J. Hart. She was born in Summerside, PEI on March 20th, 1950. Libby is survived by her sister, Margaret L. Rogers of Fredericton, NB; two brothers Donald E.(Carol) Hart of Thunder Bay, Ont. and John Eric (Sandra) Hart of Island View, NB; seven nieces and nephews and fifteen great-nieces and nephews, one extra special cousin, Francie Cummings of Boston, Mass., who always called to say "I Love You". Libby thrived in Bath and was known to everyone who visited the community gathering area, "The Liar's Bench". Her loving disposition and her bubbly personality endeared her to the community and adults. Teenagers "looked out" for Libby's safety as she enjoyed the freedom of being one of the gang. Libby moved with her family to Florenceville in 1971 and lived on Russett Crescent in the McCain subdivision. She developed many friendships in the Florenceville area and enjoyed the swimming lessons at the local pool as well as social gatherings at the Hart home. In the fall of 1995, following her mother's passing, Libby moved to Fielding, NB where she enjoyed the loving family of Betty and Dale Nye, and has since resided with Betty. Libby attended the old Bath primary and Elementary school where she helped pioneer the modern trend of inclusion. Libby worked on the Laura McCain Library in Florenceville, NB. In 1989, Libby, along with Dwayne Harrington, was crowned Western Region King and Queen in Caribou, Maine. Libby will be long remembered for her smile and many hugs. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the Faith Memorial United Church in Florenceville, NB. Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 2 pm from the Faith Memorial United Church. Rev. Les Johnston will be officiating with interment in the Florenceville Community cemetery at a later date.
