JOYCE ANNIE ELLEGOOD
ELLEGOOD, JOYCE ANNIE Joyce A. Ellegood of Dumfries, wife of the late Arthur H. Ellegood, passed away January 26, 2008 at her home. Joyce was born at Lower Southampton in 1928, a daughter of the late William and Nina (MacFarlane) Morrison. She loved her family and was devoted to her children, grandchildren, sisters and brothers and her extended family. Joyce is survived by a son, Richard Ellegood (Donna), Dumfries; two daughters, Susan Miller (Glenn), Toronto, ON and Sherry Johnson (Dennis), Dumfries; her grandchildren, Richard Ellegood Jr. (Melinda), Jeremy Ellegood, Ashlee Nikovski (Joe), Margaret Miller, Jill Johnson (Kyle), Jeremiah Johnson, James Paterson and Angela Paterson (Joey); a great-grandson, Alexander Nikovski; seven sisters, Olah Cronkhite, Temperance Vale, Ruth Brown (Shirley), Bear Island, Edith Rae (Allen), Dumfries, Myrna Houle (Jim), Woodstock, Avis Drost (Bob), Marrs Hill, Maine, Violet Rosborough (Billy), Fredericton and Ann Bradley (Ronnie), Temperance Vale; three brothers, Alton Morrison (Marjorie), Lakeville, Peter Morrison (Barb), Prince William and Robert Morrison (Sharon), Rossville; a sister-in-law, Pauline Hawkins, Millville; a brother-in-law, Edison Ellegood, Millville; two aunts (her mother's sisters), Ida Carson and Dorothy Pickard, both of Nackawic; several cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband in 1992 and her parents-in-law, Allen and Queenie Ellegood. Visiting hours will be held at St. Clement's Anglican Church, Route 102, Dumfries on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the church on Thursday, January 31, 2008 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Elaine Hamilton officiating. Interment will be later at St. Clement's Cemetery.
