CLARK, NANCY JOAN (HOWLAND) It is with broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of Nancy Joan Clark (Howland) of Crock's Point Road, Keswick Ridge, NB, on Febraury 3rd, 2008. Born June 1, 1944 in Mactaquac, NB, beloved daughter of Joe and Bessie Howland of Fredericton. Nancy's greatest passion in life was her family. She will be sorrowfully missed by her husband, Donald Clark. She was a true treasure to her children, Timothy (Lesley Thomas) Clark of Upper Kingsclear, NB, Janice (Rob) Arnold of Fredericton, Jennifer Clark of Moncton, and Robin (Joanne) Clark of Keswick Ridge. Nancy's tenderness and warmth were most evident when with her cherished grandchildren, Lauren and Emma Arnold and Baxter and Cooper Thomas-Clark. They will miss Grammy very much. Nancy is also survived by her siblings, Anne (Gerry) Earle, Sharon (Dale) Hamilton, (Kathy) Howland and Charlie (Sandra) Howland all of Mactaquac, NB, Bob Howland of Fredericton, and Lisa (Chad) Davison of Monroe, Washington, USA. She will also be greatly missed by several nieces and nephews. Nancy graduated from Victoria Public Hospital Nursing School in Fredericton in 1965 and then used these skills and knowledge to raise her family. She was an active member of the Mactaquac Baptist Church and was involved in many areas of the ministry. Nancy daily demonstrated her love of the Lord. She particularly enjoyed the fellowship of the Ladies Morning Out and Mary Love ABW Group. She looked forward to getting together with the Keswick Ridge Quilters to work on new projects. A celebration of Nancy's life will take place at the Kingswood Lodge, 31 Kingswood Park, Fredericton, NB (Off Hanwell Rd.) on Wednesday, February 6th, 2008 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, all are welcome and refreshments will be served. A private funeral service is planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, you may express your sympathy by making a donation to the Mactaquac Baptist Church, Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor's choice.
