Born in Barker's Point, daughter of the late Edith (Jones) and Robert Hughes. Loving mother of Roxine (late Wayne Bailey), Patricia (Ray Perlberg), Richard (Debbie Miller) and Calvin (Debbie). Cherished grandmother of Christopher (Tanya Milner) Bailey, Jennifer (Scott McAndrew) and Jonathan Perlberg, Amanda (Willy Newman), Vanessa Sutherland, James (Sera Colpitts) and Andrew Estey. Great grandmother of Emma and Mira Bailey, Jake and Julie Newman, Valeska and Wyatt Estey. Dear sister of Reta (late Clarence Derrah), Shirley Koshowski, Donald (Isabel) Hughes, sister-in-law of Inez Estey and Rose Hughes. Predeceased by Marguerite (late Jeffrey Gautreau), Bernice (late Harold McIntyre), Robert Hughes and Noreen (late Bud Mullenger). Dearly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Rd on Sunday, Feb. 10 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be Monday, Feb. 11 at 3:00 pm at the Greenwood Drive Baptist Church, Barker's Point, where she was a chartered member. Pastor Jeff Benson will officiate. Reception to follow after the service. Interment will be at Sunny Bank Cemetery at a later date.
