HOLT, RUTH ELAINE April 3, 1934 - February 9, 2008 Passed away suddenly at the Dr Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton on Saturday, February 9, 2008. A dedicated wife, mother and grandmother; Ruth is survived by her devoted husband, Frank; and sons, David (Donda) and Dan; granddaughters, Kimberley, Katie and Sarah; grandsons, Korey and Nick; sister, Mildred Hanley of Riverview NB; sister-in-law, Valerie Brown; brother-in-law, Peter Gardiner; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, Clifford and Evelyn (Gray) Brown; brother, Charles Brown; and sister, Ethel Gardiner. Ruth was involved in the Square Dancing community for over 30 years and was active in her Church, serving in various ministries. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the Oromocto Baptist Church, 10 Doyle Street, Oromocto, NB on Thursday, February 14, 2008 at 3 pm with Pastor Jeff Benson officiating and Pastor Rob Nickerson and Rev. John Holt assisting. Interment will take place in Pine Hill Cemetery, Salisbury, NB at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
