CHIASSON, SISTER CATHERINE (SR. DANIEL-MARIE) Sister Catherine Chiasson, in religion, Sr. Daniel-Marie, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at 553 Elmwood Drive, Moncton, at the age of 94. She was in the 75th year of her religious profession. She was born in St-Joseph-du-Moine, N.S., the daughter of the late Daniel Chiasson and the late Suzanne Aucoin. Besides her religious family, she is survived by one brother, Alphonse of Sydney, N.S. and by several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by six brothers and three sisters. Sister spent the greater part of her life as a cook, mostly in the Province of Québec (Trois-Rivières), a few years in Western Canada (Alberta), then in Rogersville and Grande-Anse, in N.B. The remains will be resting at 553 Elmwood Drive, Moncton on Wednesday, February 20, from 2 p.m. on. The funeral mass will be celebrated in the chapel at 553 Elmwood Drive, Moncton at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2008.
