FOSTER, ETTA EILEEN Etta Eileen Foster is survived by the love of her life, Irvine Boone of Tay Creek, NB. Her passing occurred on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on September 10, 1929 in Zealand, NB, she was the daughter of the late Watson and Lillian (Lawrence) Brewer. Etta attended the Sunset Drive Church. She loved to bowl with seniors league at the Nashwaaksis Bowl-A-Drome. Etta was an avid gardener. Besides the love of her life, Irvine, Etta is survived by her children; daughters, Madeline (Ian) McKillop, Lillian (Jerry) Haines, Norma (David) Foster; sons, Myles, David, Steven (Debbie) and Meredith (Kim); 14 grandchildren; two step grandchildren; six step great grandchildren; sisters, Elizabeth Porter, Jane (Arliss) Porter and Greta Haines; sisters-in-law, Daisy and Edith Brewer; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Etta was predeceased by the father of her children, Arthur Foster of Dorne Ridge; two infant children; three sisters, Ruth Hanson, Inez Desrosier and Arline Brewer; seven brothers, Ernest, Hayward, Hanford, Herbert, Raymond and two infant brothers. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Thursday, February 21, 2008 from 7-9 pm and on Friday, February 22, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 2 pm with Pastor Joseph Beesley and Pastor Richard Bragdon officiating. Interment will take place in Zealand Community Cemetery at a later date.
