ISABELLE MARIE GLENDENNING
GLENDENNING, ISABELLE MARIE Following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's disease, Isabelle passed peacefully at York Manor on Sunday, February 17. She was the daughter of Mary and the late Gordon Waddelow of Fredericton. Predeceased by her eldest daughter, Cynthia, Isabelle is survived by five children, Steven (Donna McFarlane) of Quispamsis, John, Douglas and Peter all of Fredericton, and Sharon Griffiths of Calgary; and by her two grandsons, Jacob and Bentley Griffiths of Fredericton. In addition to her children and mother, she leaves two sisters, Joan (Donald) Malone of BC and Donna (Peter) Chalmers of Fredericton; three nephews, four nieces and several grand-nieces and nephews. Isabelle was a gentle soul who was devoted to her family and who loved and cared for cats. She made lasting friendships with her co-workers in the Pharmacy Department at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital and with the members of the Fredericton Quilters' Guild in which she was actively involved. The family will receive visitors at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home at 160 York Street in Fredericton (458-9170) on Friday, February 22 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and a memorial service will take place in J.A. McAdam Memorial Chapel at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 23.
