CHARTERS, EDNA Edna (Cleghorn) Charters of Fredericton and formerly of Harvey passed away February 25th, 2008 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born at Lake George in 1922, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Jane (Messer) Cleghorn. Edna is survived by four sisters, Hazel Holt, Harvey Station, Annie Miller, Dumfries, Glenna Grant, Ottawa, ON and Eunice Cook, Oak Bay; a sister-in-law, Shirley Cleghorn, Harvey; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Edna was predeceased by her husband, Harry Charters; two sisters, Frances McMurtrie and Ruby Rideout; three brothers, Irvine, Vincent and Hazen Cleghorn. Visiting hours will be held at Swan Funeral Home, 1826 Route 3, Harvey Station on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 29th, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bonnie Wynn officiating. Interment in Harvey Settlement Cemetery.
