GRANT, JEAN ELEANOR (BROWN) Jean Eleanor Grant (Brown) passed away at her home in Knowlton, Quebec March 2, 2008 after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her parents Stephen and Minnie Brown. She is survived by her two sons Robert Grant (Knowlton) and Ronald Grant (Fredericton); grand children Patricia, Catherine, Anna, Stewart and Jolian all of Montreal, and eleven great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all. Born in Fredericton on April 10, 1916, Jean spent most of her career working at the Victoria Public Hospital and later the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton. She was the last surviving member of her family being predeceased by her six brothers and sisters. Jean will be best remembered by her family as a person who gave her all to family members without any consideration of her own needs and wants. She was always there to give to others and do without herself. A very loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Funeral arrangements were arranged by Desourdy Wilson Funeral Home in Cowansville, Quebec. Her ashes will be returned to Fredericton at a later date, to be buried at the family plot.
