FARNSWORTH, DORIS MARGARET Doris Margaret Farnsworth passed away at York Manor Nursing Home on March 15, 2008. Doris was born in Chesterfield, England on April 6, 1914 to parents Thomas and Maryanne Locker. She married William Farnsworth and emigrated to Canada in 1946. They settled in the area of Kingston, Ontario where they lived until moving to New Brunswick in 1965. Predeceased by husband William and sisters Frances, Lillian, and Mavis. Survived by son David (Giselle) of Kingston, Ontario; daughter Elissa (Richard Thibault) of Montreal and Mark (Saveta) of Fredericton; grandchildren Jean, Daniel, Paul, Philippe, Karen, David, Mikaela; and great grandson Samuel. Doris was always known for her kindness, adventurous spirit and vivid imagination. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses who eagerly shared Bible truth with others at every opportunity. She had great love and patience for children, meeting many "kindred spirits" who remember her fondly. Special thanks to the staff of Dixon Lodge for their love and care during her stay.
