HOSKIN, HARRY JAMES Harry's family would like to thank Dr. Neu, his family physician and staff, and the many specialists that treated Harry with such respect over the years, Dr. Sheridan, Dr. Currie, Dr. Grosse, Dr. Retson, Dr. Williams, Dr. Marshall Naughler, Dr. Samadi, Rockingham Ridge Pharmacy Staff, the VON, the Berkeley (Bedford) staff, the 4.1 team at the QEII Health Sciences Centre for their exemplary care, compassion and kindness this last week, the Palliative Care Team, and especially Rev. David Hann for his inspiration and comfort to Harry and his family. The family will be receiving friends in J.A. Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor St., Halifax, today, 6 to 8 pm and Wednesday, March 19 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral service will be held 2 pm on Thursday, March 20 (Harry's birthday) in Edgewood-Oxford Street United Church, Halifax, at the corner of Young Street and Connaught Avenue, Rev. David Hann officiating. A reception will be held immediately following the service in the church hall. A private family burial will be held at a later date in Fairview Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Palliative Care Unit, IWK Health Centre, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, or the charity of one's choice.
