WALKER, DOROTHY MARIE The death of Dorothy Walker occurred on March 22nd, 2008 at the York Manor Nursing Home. Born in Fredericton, she is predeceased by her parents, Walter and Hazel (Burlock) McGinn; her three brothers, Robert, Walter and Patrick McGinn; brother-in-law, Kip Roxborough; and sisters-in-law, Margaret McGinn and Velma McGinn. Surviving Dorothy is her daughter, Shona (Vern) Patriquin of Tatamagouche, NS; one brother, Mike (Carol) McGinn of Arnprior, ON; sisters, Clarice Roxborough of Fredericton, NB and Maureen (John) Fantin of Sudbury, ON; and her sister-in-law, Jean McGinn of Fredericton, NB. Dorothy is also survived by one granddaughter, Kelly Burgess, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. A special thanks is extended by the family to the staff of the Atrium and Dixon Lodge at the York Manor Nursing Home for their exceptional care. Visitation will be held at McAdams Select Community Funeral Home on Monday, March 24th, 2008 from 2 to 4 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Dunstan's Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 25th, 2008 at 12:00 noon with Fr. David Martin as celebrant.
