JONES, GLADYS GOLDEN (SEWELL) The passing of Gladys Golden (Sewell) Jones, of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Earl Jones, occurred on April 7, 2008 at the Carleton Kirk Place Lodge. Born on March 17, 1916 in Woodstock, NB, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Martha (Flowers) Sewell. Gladys was a member of the Capital Community Church, Marysville, NB. Gladys is survived by one son, Dean (Kelly) Jones of Saint John, NB; one grandchild, Adam; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by three sisters, Pauline, Pearl and Nora; and one brother, Walter. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 from 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at 3 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will take place in Tracy Cemetery, Tracy, NB at a later date.
