MCDONALD, ALAN PATRICK The death of Alan McDonald occurred on April 9th, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born August 21st, 1933 in Windsor, NS, he was the son of the late Edward and Catherine (Silver) McDonald and husband to Violet (Howland) McDonald. Surviving Alan is his wife, Violet; stepchildren, Donna (Clair Hazlett) Cole of Fredericton, NB, Linda (Chris) Roberts of Fredericton, NB, Patricia Bridgeo of Fredericton, NB, and Marilyn (Patrick) Lo of Toronto, ON; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; brother, Cyril (Inez) McDonald; sister-in-laws Doris Barnett and Vivian Howland. Alan is predeceased by his parents, three brothers, Herbert, Leo and Joseph McDonald, as well as one sister, Margaret McDonald. There will be no visitation or service by request at this time.
