MACMONAGLE, ROBERT EDWARD Robert Edward MacMonagle (Bob) of New Maryland, N.B. passed away April 11th, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on August 16th, 1933 in Woodstock, Ontario, he was the son of the late Tolbert and Thelma (Sanderson) MacMonagle. Besides his wife Dorothy, of 51 years, Bob is survived by his daughter Debbie of Mill Cove and son Tim of Moncton, N.B. He is also survived by four sisters, Ione Yeo, London Ontario, June O'Hara, Concord California, Joyce Good (Willard) Elmira Ontario and Anne Lyn Vanderkooi (Atze) Nanaimo, B.C.; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Bob was predeceased by a daughter Jo-Anne and a son Scott. Bob was a very proud member of the R.C.M.P. He served at various detachments throughout N.B and then was transferred to Ottawa and Toronto, where he retired as a Superintendent after 35 years service. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service by request. A private graveside service will be held at a later date in the Fredericton Rural Cemetery Extension.
