O'LEARY (HAY), CONSTANCE "CONNIE" YVONNE The passing of Constance "Connie" Yvonne (Hay) O'Leary, wife of the late Michael John O'Leary, of Fredericton, NB, occurred on April 13, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on November 15, 1941 in Williamsburg, NB, she was a daughter of Hazel Hay and the late Donald Hay of Williamsburg, NB. She was active in her church and faith community. Connie enjoyed crafts, painting art, square dancing, quilting, travelling and gardening. She was a caring and loving mother who was especially proud of her grandchildren. In addition her mother, Connie is survived by her children, Rebecca Rudderham (Cameron) of St. George, NB; Derrick O'Leary (Debi) of Woodstock, NB and David O'Leary (Lesley) of St. Andrew's, NB; five grandchildren, Cameron, Jessica, Raeghan, Anna and Finnegan; sisters, Alice Kirkpatrick and Marie MacKay both Fredericton, NB; brother, Garnet Hay (Shirley) of Williamsburg, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides her father and husband, Connie was predeceased by her brothers, Fernand and Owen Hay. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 from 2 to 4 pm and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at First Congregational Church of Fredericton, NB on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at 7 pm with Rev. Dr. Brad Little officiating. Interment will take place in Alexander Gibson Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
