BROWN, BEATRICE E. "NELLIE" The passing of Beatrice Ellen "Nellie" Brown formerly of Penniac, NB occurred at the Nashwaak Villa, Stanley, NB on Wednesday, April 16, 2008. She was 100 years of age. Born June 9, 1907 in Bloxwich, England, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Charlotte (Taylor) Wilkes. Her parents; husband, Harry Brown; and a number of brothers and sisters all predeceased her. A homemaker, Nellie was affiliated with The Church of England. Nellie is survived by a daughter, Florence Moore of Fredericton; three sons, Harry J. Brown of Windsor Junction, Halifax Co., NS, Frank Louis Brown of New Maryland, NB and A. Wayne Brown of Penniac; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. No visitation or funeral service by request. Following cremation, a private graveside service will be held at a later date.
