COREY, LINDA DOREEN (POST) The passing of Linda Doreen Corey of Ripples, NB occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit on Wednesday, April 23, 2008. She was 59. Born at Scotchtown, NB on September 17, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Stella (Stewart) Post. Her parents; brothers, Irvin and Melford Post and a sister, Carol all predeceased her. Linda was a homemaker and a member of the Living Church of God. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Jim Corey; a son, Darren (Carol) of Toronto; daughter, Karen Corey of Fredericton; sisters, Audrey Daamen of Minto, Joyce Tibbits (Garland) of Ripples, Jean Smith (Merlyn) of Maquapit Lake, Donna McKellar (David) of Scotchtown and Nancy Wong (Mike) of Scotchtown; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Although there will be no visitation, family and friends are welcome to attend the funeral service that will be held Sunday, April 27, 2008 at 3:00 PM from Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton (458-1885). Mr. Elertson will officiate. Interment in the Marysville Baptist Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Palliative Care Unit at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital would be appreciated.
