WOODCOCK, ELWOOD CLYDELL It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Elwood Clydell Woodcock on Sunday April, 27, 2008 at the Central New Brunswick Nursing, Boiestown NB. Beloved husband of Bertha (Munn) Woodcock for 60 years. Born March 14, 1926 son of the late Fulton and Pearl (Barton) Woodcock. Elwood was a member of the Royal Canadian Infantry and was a retired maintenance worker with the NB Liquor Corporation. He attended South Portage Baptist Bible Church. He enjoyed gardening, walking, hunting, loved to be outdoors and spending time with his family. Besides his wife, Elwood is survived by daughter, Joy Goupille (Steve) of Woodstock, NB; three sons, Terry Woodcock (Mary) of Sillikers, NB, Kevin Woodcock (Donna) of Nashwaak Bridge, NB and Tim Woodcock (Faith) of Priceville, NB; three sister-in-laws Sylvia, Helen and Mabelle Woodcock; nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sons, Kenneth and Gregory; one daughter, Sharon; four brothers, Bruce, Guy, Glen and James. Visitation will be held at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Dr. Fredericton NB on Tuesday April 29, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday April 30, 2008 at 2 pm from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel with grandson Pastor Craig Woodcock and Pastor Patrick McAloon officiating. Interment will take place in the Nashwaak Bridge Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Alzheimer Society or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
