NEWEY, ETHEL IRENE (nee ROGERS) Peacefully, on Saturday, April 26, 2008, in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Brian Ernest Newey, loving mother of Janet Arlene and the late Noreen Evison, dear grandmother of Carlyn and Teigan. Sister of Albert Rogers, the late Verna Vaughan, the late Mildred Saddler, daughter of the late Vernon Rogers and Mary Ann Powers of Fredericton, New Brunswick. An inspiration to those that knew her. Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 from 2:00 until 4:00 and 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the Turner & Porter ''Peel'' Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street (Hwy. 10, N. of QEW). A Funeral Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel, with a reception to follow. If desired, donations may be made to the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation in loving memory of her daughter Noreen.
