EDISON LLOYD WHITE

WHITE, EDISON LLOYD Following a courageous battle with lung cancer, the passing of Edison Lloyd White of Kingsley, husband of Faye (Edney) White, occurred on May 5, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 6, 1948 in Kingsley, he was the son of the late Hazel (Brewer) and James White. Edison loved to camp and spend time with his family. In addition to his wife, Edison is survived by his daughter, Sheri Tucker (Shawn) of Royal Road; son, Darrin White (Roxanne) of McLeod Hill; grandchildren, Dustin and Ashley Tucker; sisters, Rowena Currie (John) of Estey's Bridge, Guida Rog (Peter) of Birdton, Shirley Dunnett of Lincoln and Mildred Anderson (Charlie) of Kingsley Road; brother, Floyd White (Gail) of Royal Road; several nieces, nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at 11 am with Pastor Dwight Munn officiating. Pallbearers for the service are Charles Wallace, Alonzo Currie, Roy Anderson, John Brown, Moe Flemming and Teddy Seymore. Honorary Pallbearer is Bruce Roberts. Interment will take place in Birdton United Church Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Lung Association of New Brunswick, Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
