BOONE, FREDERICK "FRED" W. The passing of Frederick "Fred" W. Boone of Fredericton, NB, husband of Charlene (Gould) Boone, occurred on May 8, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on October 28, 1934 in Green Mountain, NB, he was the son of the late Dorothy (Foster) and Frederick Boone. He was a member of the St. John the Evangelist Church. Fred was a Past President of the Fredericton Kinsmen, Past Cub Master and President of the Home Owners Association in Florida. In addition to his wife, Charlene, Fred is survived by his daughter, Denice Poirier (Charles Duthie); son, Jordon Boone (Janet) both of Fredericton; grandchildren, Adam, Jermey, Vanessa and Bridgitte; sisters, Marlene Murray (Arnold) of Fredericton, Linda Walker (Linwood) of Fosterville, Sylvia Graham (Glendon) of Fosterville; brother, Vaughn Boone of Prince William; adopted sister, Faith Bye of Fredericton; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Fred was predeceased by his sister, Gail Boone. Visitation will take place at St. John the Evangelist Church on Friday, May 9, 2008 from 4 to 8 pm. A Funeral Service will take place from the church on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 11 am with Canon Bill MacMullin officiating. Interment will take place in St. John the Evangelist Cemetery. The family requests no flowers. Remembrances made to the Chalmers Hospital Foundation (Oncology Unit) or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
