INGERSOLL, LILLIAN JANE The passing of Lillian Jane (Stewart) Ingersoll, of Fredericton NB, occurred on Saturday May 10, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Taymouth NB on March 21, 1921. She was the daughter of the late Elijah and Annabelle (Wade) Stewart. She worked at the Lord Beaverbrook hotel for 40 years as a waitress, hostess and manager of the Gift Shop. She is survived by two sons, Douglas (Caroline) Ingersoll of Quebec and Brian Ingersoll of Halifax, NS; daughter, Rose Marie Ingersoll (John) of Magaguadavic NB; two brothers, Douglas Stewart of Fredericton, NB and Basil (Faye) Stewart of Taymouth NB; sister, Eva (John) Munn of Holtville NB; eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by son, Ira Ingersoll; four brothers, Scott, John, Ken and Percy Stewart; one sister, Florence Cass. Visitation will be held at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Dr. Fredericton NB on Monday May 12, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Tuesday May 13, 2008 at 2 pm with Pastor Hal Babcock officiating. Burial will be in Taymouth Community Cemetery. Reception will follow at the Nashwaak Valley Pentecostal Church.
