MACPHAIL, VAUGHN ALEXANDER Vaughn Alexander MacPhail, 24, formally of Fredericton, N.B. and Halifax, N.S. died suddenly at home in Calgary Alberta on Sunday, May 11, 2008. Born in Charlottetown P.E.I. he was the son of Vaughn Allison MacPhail Sr. and Wendy Lynn Stubbert. A well loved man, Vaughn had many talents and many passions in life. From music, dancing, acting and literature he was a man who breathed creativity and passion. He touched more lives than can be counted and will be terribly missed by everyone who was blessed with knowing him. He was a loving father, son, brother and friend. Vaughn was a bright flash of energy, passion and life that left our lives to soon. Vaughn is survived by his son, Vaughn Andrew MacPhail, Bridgewater N.S.; sister, Tanis D. MacPhail, Wolfville N.S.; paternal grandmother Mabel MacPhail, Fredericton N.B. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, James Allison Macphail; maternal grandparents, William and Doris Stubbert. Visitation will be held 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm Saturday, May 17th at All Saints Anglican Church, 172 Canada St. (St Mary's), Fredericton N.B. And from where the memorial service will be held 2PM Sunday, May 18th, Rev. John Cathcart officiating. A reception will follow in the church. Burial will be at a later date. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Leyden's Funeral Home, Calgary.
