SANDS, JOHN GERALD The passing of John Gerald Sands of Durham Bridge, N.B. occurred at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Thursday, May 15, 2008 at the age of 68. John was predeceased by his wife Noreen. Born at Stanley, N.B. he was the son of the late Arthur and Mary Sands. John operated a portable sawmill for a time and was very knowledgeable about all things mechanical. In later years he found great pleasure in attending auctions. John is survived by brothers, William, Karl and Gary; and one sister, Eileen; two step-children, Gregg and Lydia Dodds; three step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at Bishops Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Thursday May 22nd, 2008 at 2:00 PM.
