JUDY CHRISTINE ARSENAULT
ARSENAULT, JUDY CHRISTINE Judy Christine Arsenault, of Fredericton, NB, was finally brought home to rest on May 14, 2008. Born on October 23, 1949 in Harvey, NB, she was the daughter of Raymond Mersereau and the late Shirley Elizabeth (Coburn) Mersereau. Judy was the former Regional Manager of the Electro Diagnostics department at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital and an active volunteer with Hospathon, she greatly enjoyed her days as a Sunday School Teacher at the Nashwaaksis United Church where she was an active member for many years. Judy was also an avid golfer, enjoyed the outdoors and loved to share her compassion cooking. She loved cottage life at the lake in Harvey where she loved to entertain. She touched many people over her life and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. In addition to her father, Raymond Mersereau and his wife, Shirley of Harvey, Judy is survived by her daughter, Lori Arsenault (Shawn); son, Michael Arsenault (Carrie) both of Fredericton; grandson, Kale Arsenault; sister, Deanna Phillips of Fredericton; brother, Wayne Phillips (Gwyneth) of Wolfville, NS; grandmother, Gertrude Mersereau of Carstairs, AB; sister-in-law, Ellen Phillips of Nackawic; nieces and nephews, Matthew, Maggie, Gregor, Kevin (Angie) and Chris (Will) Phillips and Jennifer Wilkins; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Besides her mother, Judy was predeceased by her infant granddaughter, Piper Judith Arsenault-White; brother, Errol "Dow" Phillips. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, May 22, 2008 from 6 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Nashwaaksis United Church on Friday, May 23, 2008 at 2 pm with Rev. George Feenstra officiating. Interment will take place in Harvey Community Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Brain Tumor Foundation, York County Search and Rescue or the Canadian Red Cross would be appreciated by the family.
