John Buzinsky
Buzinsky, John It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of our dearly beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. John was predeceased by his son Garry, one brother, one sister, brothers-in-law and four sisters-in-law. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 67 years Anne; beloved daughter Shirley; beloved grandson and granddaughter Jeff and wife Sandra; and precious great-granddaughter Amanda; daughter-in-law Marge and family; sisters-in-law Rose and Lil and nieces and nephews and treasured friends Marie Gibbs and Jackie and Nomie Meroniuk. John was a hard worker, always there when anyone needed help, had a great sense of humour and always enjoyed telling a good joke. John liked to watch the Roughrider games with the Blue Jays being his favorite. He enjoyed playing pool prior to suffering a stroke. John always put in a large garden that he took great pride in. The many trips to Las Vegas were a highlight. He loved to play bingo. When the C.P.R. shops closed, John moved to Winnipeg and worked as a welder until retiring in 1973. Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Tea in the Harvey Room at Moose Jaw Funeral Home on Thursday, January 15th, 2009 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Sask., 279 3rd Ave. N., Saskatoon, Sk., S7K 2H8, would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director. 693-4550 www.moosejawfuneralhome.com
