FLORES SR., MARCO A. It is with great sadness that the family of Marco A. Flores Tepeque Sr. announces his passing. Born in Guatemala City, Guatemala, he was the son of the late Luis Rafael Flores Castillo and Julia Tepeque de Flores. He leaves behind a family that will miss him deeply; his wife of 28 years, Maria; and his beloved children: Juan Carlos, Eunice, Marco Jr., Andrez and Rodrigo. He is also survived by his loving brother, Rafael; and sisters, Mercedez, Ana, Maria Teresa, Alicia, Marta and their spouses. He was predeceased by his parents as well as two brothers, Jose Luis and Jose Raul. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and friends all residing in Guatemala City, Guatemala and Canada. In 1979, Marco became a nurse in Guatemala and worked as one for many years. He healed many hearts and brought a smile to many with his contagious energy and laughter - which always made our day. He enjoyed fishing, writing, reading and travelling. He was a committed choir member at St. Anthony's church in Fredericton. His sense of adventure was unmatched. Dad, you will be greatly missed and we take some comfort in knowing you are in a better place and that your spirit lives on.
