MACFARLANE, BETTY LINN The death of Betty Linn MacFarlane, wife of the late Robert M. MacFarlane, occurred on June 7, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in West Saint John she was the daughter of the late Alfred H. and Lyda Mae (Schofield) Clark. Surviving are children, Blair MacFarlane (Gaynor) of Prince Albert, SK, Barbara MacFarlane of the UAE, Elizabeth Anslow (Ian) of Fredericton; sister, Mary Clark Sancton of Saint John; grandchildren, Billie Jean, Meagan, Kevin, Debbie, Jennifer, Heather, Stacy and Robert; 20 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by Sergeant Lieutenant Albert Clark, DSC RCNVR, George T. Clark, QC, and Dr. Stephen D. Clark. Following cremation at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), there will be a private family memorial service. Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery.
