TOMER, KENNETH "KENNY GEORGE (WISEMAN) - On Sunday, June 15, 2008, at the Oromocto Public Hospital, Kenny Tomer of Orchard View Nursing Home and formerly of St. Mary's First Nation passed away at the age of 68. Born in Fredericton, he was a son of the late Edgar and Eunice (Wiseman) Tomer. Kenny was Roman Catholic and Owner/Operator of Beaver Tree Service. Surviving are his children, Mary Tomer of Kingsclear First Nation, Sandra Atwin (Gabriel) of San Diego, California, Eric Tomer, Adam Tomer, Paul Tomer (Tamara) all of Kingsclear First Nation; and their mother, Cora (Sabattis) Tomer; Shauna, Sherri, Conrad and Trevor Sacobie all of Kingsclear First Nation; and their mother, Cheryl Sacobie of Kingsclear First Nation; several grandchildren, great grandchildren; a special granddaughter, Gisele of Kingsclear; sister, Jeanette Duthie of Kingsley; brothers, Richard and Winston Solomon of Kingsclear; aunt Elizabeth Brewer of St. Marys First Nation; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held at the home of his daughter, Mary, at 600 Apt. Ave., Kingsclear First Nation on Wednesday and Thursday. Funeral service will be held Friday from St. Anthony's Catholic Church at 11:00 AM with Father Monte Peters officiating. Internment in the St. Anthony's Cemetery.
