PARKS, ANNA MAY The death of Anna May Parks, wife of 55 years to the late Howard N. Parks, of Fredericton, NB and formerly of Chatham, NB, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton, NB, on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at the age of 83. Born in Whitneyville, NB, Anna was the daughter of the late Edward and Edith (Allison) Dunnet. Anna was a homemaker, member of the Nashwaaksis United Church, and member of the Prince Charles Chapter #27, Order of the Eastern Star and a resident of the Pine Grove Nursing Home in Fredericton for 3 years. Anna is survived by five daughters, Edith Lynch (Robert) of Saint John, NB; Lynn Mundle (Robert) of Lakeville Corner, NB, Diane Hawkins of St. Andrew's, NB, Judy Rogers (Norman) of Oak Point, NB, Susan Gillingham (Robert) of Fredericton, NB; one son, Andy of Nelson, NB; two sisters, Joyce Dunnet-Young of Whitney, NB, Dorothy Heckbert of Saint John, NB; one brother, Bill Dunnet (Eileen) of Atikokan, ON; 16 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. At the request of the family there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A public funeral service will be held from the Sterling Bell Memorial Chapel on Sunday at 2 PM with Pastor Dale Greer officiating. The burial will follow in the Whitney Baptist Church Cemetery. In Anna's memory, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or The Arthritis Society.
