CHESSIE, FRANCIS (FRANK) HENRY Frank H. Chessie of Newmarket, NB., passed away June 23, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. He was born at McAdam, NB., in 1918, a son of the late James and Mary (Essensa) Chessie. Frank farmed for a number of years before being employed with the Department of Transportation for 25 years as highway supervisor. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. Frank was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Newmarket for many years. He is survived by three sons, Albert Chessie (Carol), Chipman, NB, John Chessie (Dawn), York Mills, NB and Joey Chessie, Bishop's Nursing Home in Minto, NB; a daughter-in-law, Valerie Mazerolle (Rowan), Newmarket, NB; a sister- in-law, Mavis Chessie, Sanford, Maine; nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Frank was predeceased by his wife, Mary E. (Donnelly) Chessie in 2000; a son, Harold Chessie in 1996; a sister, Muriel Burgoyne and her husband Leonard and a brother, Gerald Chessie Visiting hours will be held at Swan Funeral Home, 1826 Highway 3, Harvey Station on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 415 Highway 3, Newmarket on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at 11 a.m. by Rev. David Martin. Interment will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
