LITTLE, LORNE ELWOOD L. Elwood Little of Harvey, York Co., passed away on June 26, 2008 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born at Harvey, York Co., NB in 1913, he was a son of the late Lorne and Mina (Little) Little. As a young man, Elwood worked in the family store and then later at Watson's General Store. After attending Business College, he was employed as clerk with CP Rail. Elwood was a member of Cherry Mountain Lodge. Elwood is survived by five sisters, Mabel Embleton, York Mills, Ethel Dorcas, McAdam, Elizabeth Little and Sylvia Little, both of Saint John and Roxie Hood, Magaguadavic; a sister-in-law, Anna Little, York Mills; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Elwood was predeceased by a sister, Tressa Vail and two brothers, Claude and Amos Little. Visiting hours will be held at Swan Funeral Home, 1826 Route 3, Harvey Station on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Monday, June 30, 2008 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Kay Clowater officiating. Interment at Harvey Settlement Cemetery.
