EDNEY, GUY MACBEAN The passing of Guy MacBean Edney, of Taymouth, NB, occurred on July 11, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on November 21, 1916, he was a son of the late Frederick and Jennie (Bell) Edney. Guy was self employed as a Woodsmen and a Tree Farmer. He was a member of Taymouth United Church and a past member of the Odd Fellows and Elks. Guy is survived by three daughters, Cheryl Edney and Ann Anderson (Melvin) both of Taymouth, NB, Nancy Nicholls of Douglas, NB; one son, Larry Edney (Jill) of Quispamsis, NB; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Jean of Taymouth, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Guy was predeceased by his brother, Keith. There will be no visitation by request of the family. A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Sunday, July 13, 2008 at 3 pm with Rev. Brian MacDonald and Rev. Franklin Curtis officiating. Interment will take place in Taymouth Community Cemetery.
