SOSA, S. GORDON "GORD" Stanley Gordon "Gord" Sosa passed away peacefully at the Credit Valley Hospital at Mississauga, Ontario at the age of 79 following a courageous battle with Acute Leukemia. He will be interred July 18, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Lakeville Corner United Church Cemetery where his wife, Irene (Ferguson) will eventually join him, having grown up in the area. There were no children. He is also survived by his sister, Marilyn Grennan (Leonard); niece, Karen Ford (Dean) and nephews, Donald and Douglas (Sharon) and their children. Also survived by his brother-in-law, Gary Ferguson (Gwen); his daughter, Julie Little (Dean) and son; Ross, all of the Fredericton area. Gord was born and educated in the Montreal Area. In 1949 he joined British American Oil which later became Gulf Oil and was transferred to Toronto in 1979 and retired in 1983. He enjoyed his retirement up to the onset of his illness.
