SIKES, GERTRUDE THERESA The death of Gertrude (Hamilton) Sikes, 78, occurred on Sunday, July 13 at Hollywood Florida, after a brief illness. Born in Doaktown, NB she was a daughter of the late Dr. John B. and Jen W. (Holt) Hamilton. She is survived by her two sons, Paul Browne of Hollywood, Fla and Mike (Roberta) Browne, also of Hollywood Fla, five grandchildren Devon, Alex, Paul, Zachary, Nick, a sister, Yvonne Hall of Courtenay, British Columbia, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, husbands Gary Browne and Jim Sikes, and her brother John B. Hamilton Jr. For most of her lifetime, Gertrude resided in Southern Florida where she practised nursing.
