GRASS, MAVIS D. The death of Mavis Doreen Grass of Sussex occurred at the Sussex Health Centre on July 19, 2008 at the age of 76. Born at Rusagonis, NB, a daughter of the late William and Frances (Mersereau) O'Leary. Mavis was the wife of the late Robert M. Grass who passed away in 2001. She is survived by her sons; Richard (Janet) Grass of Crawford Lake, Sherman (Jan) Grass of Picadilly, Timothy (Judy) Grass of Red Deer, AB and Rodney (Sharon) Grass of Wards Creek, grandchildren, Becky and Steven Grass, Jeffrey (Mindy) Grass and great grandson, Jesse; sister, Isabell Calhoun of Keswick, NB and brother, Horace O'Leary (Marg) of Beamsville, ON. Besides her parents and husband, Mavis was predeceased by a sister, Gladys McLaughlin. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road Sussex (506-433-2133) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9PM. Branch #20 Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary will hold a Tribute Wednesday at 6:45PM at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held on Thursday July 24, 2008 at 2:00PM at the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place at Evergreen Memorial Park, Sussex.
