CLARENCE MACMULLIN
MACMULLIN, CLARENCE (1919 - 2008) On May 9, 2008, Clarence MacMullin of Hudson, New York, passed away at the age of 88, one month following the death of his wife, Mildred, on April 6. Clarence was born on December 19, 1919 in Blaney Ridge, NB. He was the son of the late Moses and Ella MacMullin. He is predeceased by his wife, Mildred (Yandik), son Robert, and brothers Angus, Donald, and Vincent and sisters Jean and Edith. He is survived by children Susan, Keith and Janet and their families including five grandchildren, one sister, Wilma Donnelly of Lake George, NB and many nieces and nephews in New Brunswick. Clarence served overseas with the Canadian Army during World War II and was awarded the prestigious Military Medal for bravery. Following his discharge from the Army in 1945, he located in the Hudson area in New York State where he married, raised his family, worked as a car salesman, and served with the volunteer fire department. He maintained life-long close ties with family and friends in the Lake George and Magaguadavic area through his frequent visits to New Brunswick. A memorial service to celebrate Clarence's life was held on June 27 in Hudson.
