COURT, "BUD" OLDEN ARTHUR The death of Bud Court of Burton, NB, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008. Born in Campbellton, NB he was the son of the late Ivan and Frances (Harris) Court and husband of Barbara (Lockerbie) Court. Bud enlisted with the military in 1954 and retired in 1982, spending time overseas in both Cyprus and Vietnam. He belonged to the RCR's and the Black Watch Association. Bud was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #93 and a founding member of the Burton Lions Club. Survived by his loving wife, Barbara (Lockerbie) Court; his children, Andrew "Drew" Court (Donna) of Calgary, AB, Olden Court (Patricia) of Miramichi, NB and Jane Gray (Randy) of Burton, NB; his grandchildren, Kacy and Jason Court, Sarah, Samantha and Allison Court; and Mary Jane McKearney (Aaron); his great-grandchildren, Shenece Gray and Emma McKearney; his siblings, Faye Levesque (Yvon) of Dieppe, NB and Harvey Court of Saint John, NB.; as well as several friends, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Friday, July 25th from 7 to 9 pm and on Saturday, July 26th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #93; as well as, the Black Watch Association will hold a tribute service on Saturday afternoon at 2 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, July 27th, 2008 at 1:30 pm. Rev. Bob McDowell officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Grove United Church Cemetery in Burton. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes in Bud's honor may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
