ROBERT (BOB) WARREN BARNETT
WARREN BARNETT, ROBERT (BOB) It is with great sadness that the family of Robert (Bob) Warren Barnett of Clark's Corner announces his passing on Tuesday, August 5th, 2008, in Fredericton. Born in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Warren and Dorothy (Lewis) Barnett. Bob was a graduate of Saint Thomas University and member of the Douglas Harbour Fire Department as well as the Alexandria Lodge 33F & AM in Fredericton. He was employed by the Department of Justice for 35 years retiring as a probation officer. He enjoyed ATVing, boating and afternoons at the hunting camp. He is survived by his wife, Joyce (Davis) Barnett; a son, Steven (Melissa Durling) Barnett of Douglas; daughters, Dr Sandra (Ian Hughes) Barnett of North Lunenburg, ON, and Nancy (Calvin) St. Croix of New Maryland; his grandchildren, Jamie and Katelyn St. Croix and Ella Barnett; a brother, Murray (Marion) Barnett of Costa Rica and a sister, Margaret (Arnold) Kaun of Creston, BC. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home (327-3490) with visiting on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will take place 2:00 PM Friday, August 8th, 2008 from the Scotchtown United Church with Rev. K. Ruth Stuart officiating. Interment will take place in the Scotchtown Cemetery. The Masonic Lodge will hold a tribute service at the funeral home 6:45pm Thursday evening.
