KENNETH IRVING KNIGHT

KNIGHT, KENNETH IRVING The death of Kenneth Irving Knight, beloved husband of the late Audrey (Redmond) Knight, of Lower Queensbury, NB, and formerly of Saint John, NB, occurred on August 8, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Born on February 18, 1940 in New Haven, Connecticut, he was a son of William and Florence (Williams) Knight. Kenneth worked for many years in the Transportation Industry. He concluded his working as a Shop Foreman with RST Transport. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening. He is survived by one son, Kenneth J. Knight (Laura) of Lower Queensbury; two daughters, Helen R. Floyd (Michael) of Saint John, Heather A. Knight (Troy Jenkins) of Halifax; two grandchildren, Mallory and Hunter Floyd; two brothers, Roger Knight and John (Norma) Knight both of Saint John; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Howard. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Monday, August 11, 2008 at 10 am with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will take place in St. Simon & Jude Cemetery, Upper Queensbury, NB at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
