SCHRIVER, FREDA EUGENA Freda E. Schriver of Woodstock, NB passed away August 11, 2008 at Lang's Lodge, Woodstock. Born in Campbell Settlement, NB in 1917, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Geneva (Olts) Schriver. Freda was employed for several years with Baird Company and later at General Dairies until her retirement. She enjoyed hunting, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, playing cards and traveling. She also followed her favorite hockey and baseball teams on television. Freda was a member of the Eastern Star and the Woodstock Baptist Church. She was the last surviving member of her family and was a special aunt to her many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Freda was predeceased by two sisters; Marguerite Stairs and Alice Wright and a brother, Charles Schriver. Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Leonard Cousins officiating. A reception will follow the service at the funeral home. Interment will then take place in Lenentine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews; Wayne Schriver, Arnold Wright, David Wright, Bert Stairs, Eugene Stairs and Dalton Stairs.
