YATES, LEONARD "BUTCH" JOSEPH The death of Leonard "Butch" Joseph Yates occurred at the Queens North Health Complex in Minto, NB, on Friday, August 22nd, 2008. He was born in Avon, Queens County, NB, on August 21st, 1949, he was 59. Butch was the husband of Paulette (Chase) Yates and the son of Winifred (Chapel) and the late Leonard Yates. Butch is survived by his loving wife Paulette; his mother Winifred Yates and step-father Velmont LaBurque; one son, Dwayne (Jill) of Chipman, NB; one daughter Tania (Stephen) McAllister of Chipman; three sisters, Sheila (Jim) MacIsaac of Scotchtown, NB, Rose (Dave) Hauser of Minto, and Debbie (Paul) LeBlanc of Minto; four grandchildren, Kayla and Dylan Yates, and Brandon and Liam McAllister; and thirteen nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Leonard Yates. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, August 23rd, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 24th at 2:00 PM at St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church with the Rev. Phillip Pain officiating. Interment will take place in the adjoining church cemetery. A reception will be held in the church hall immediately following the interment.
