PORTER, NORMAN KENNETH Mr. Norman Kenneth Porter, husband of Rita (Ward) Porter of 365 Grand Lake Road, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2008, at Miramichi Senior Citizens Home, at the age of 74. Born in Doaktown NB, he was the son of the late Charles & Anne Marie (Storey) Porter. He was a truck driver and a woods worker. He was a member of United Pentecostal Church. Besides his wife Rita, he was survived by two daughters; Trudy Porter at home and April Carroll (Ron) of Black River NB one brother; Perry (Joan); several sister-in-laws; three grandchildren; Neil, Brock and Jared; nieces & nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by one infant son Kenneth, three brothers; Gary, Bobbie and Charles Jr.; one sister; Elva Carroll. Mr. Norman Kenneth Porter will be resting at Doaktown United Pentecostal Church, with visitation on Thursday evening from 7-9 and Friday 2-4 & 7-9. The Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from Doaktown United Pentecostal Church, with Pastor Russell Morehouse officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
