HALLETT, MARGUIS "MARTY" RAYMOND The passing of Marquis "Marty" Raymond Hallett, husband of Marie (Jewett) Hallett of Fredericton, NB, occurred on August 30, 2008 at York Manor Nursing Home. Born on August 17, 1929, Marty was a son of the late Clowes and Alice (Heine) Hallett. Marty was a lifetime member of the Douglas Baptist Church, wholesale fruit and vegetables salesmen, carpenter and a real estate agent with Dave Hawkins Real Estate. In addition to his wife, Marty is survived by a daughter, Linda Lingley (Doug) of Fredericton, NB; son, Gary Hallett (Sandra) of Douglas, NB; grandchildren, Brent Lingley (Julie), Heather Lingley (Adam) , Marcus Hallett, Sara Hallett, Allison Hallett and Shannon Hallett; great-grandchildren, Anna and Olivia Lingley; sisters, Evelyn Lieke (Dick) and Winnifred "Wynn" Craighead (Alec), both of California, USA; brother Dean Hallett (Erma) of Bridgewater, NS; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Marty was predeceased by son, Norman Hallett; sister, Ayesha Hawkins; and brothers, Theodore, Eulas and Richard Hallett. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Monday, September 1, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held from Douglas Baptist Church on Tuesday at 2 pm with Pastor Peter Moore officiating. Interment will be in Dayton Cemetery.
