BURROWS, DUDLEY FREDERICK Peacefully on Sunday,September 7, 2008, surrounded by his family, at the age of 88 years. Loving husband of 60 years to Ethelda "Teddy" (nee O'Neill). Dear father of John (Johanna) of Ottawa,Susan (Chris) of Fredericton, Ian (Lori) of Ottawa and Barbara (Stu) of Calgary. Cherished grandfather of Alison, Peter, Kristen, Erin, Andrew lain and Derek. Brother of Lorne(Lorraine) of Vera Beach, FL. and Donald (Judy)of Ottawa. Predeceased by his siblings, John W. Burrows, Helen Smith and Dorothy Crowther. Dudley was born in Toronto on June 12, 1920 and raised in the Town of Mount Royal, Quebec. He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University. Dudley was a WWII veteran, 14th Field Regiment, Royal Canadian Artillery. The family would like to thank the ICU staff at the Ottawa Civic Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Visitation on Friday, September 12, 2008 from 12 noon to 1p.m. at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Ave., Ottawa. Memorial. Service will follow at 1p.m. in the Chapel.
