CHALMERS, ISABEL MAY The passing of Isabel May Chalmers, wife of the late Dr. Robert H. Chalmers, of Fredericton, occurred following a brief illness, on September 15, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on August 5, 1923 in Doaktown, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Helen (Russell) Swim. Isabel was a member of the Gibson Memorial United Church. Isabel is survived by two daughters, Susan Holland of Fredericton and her sons, Peter and Michael, Moyra Dziurda (Michael) of Thunder Bay and their sons, Mitchel (Megan) and Curtis; daughter-in-law, Nancy Dickison and her family. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her first husband, Avondale "Bus" Dickison and by her son, Robert Dickison. Although there will be no visitation by request, a Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at 10am with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. A Private family burial will take place at Sunny Bank Cemetery at a later date.
