CRAWFORD, GARTH MORONI Garth Moroni Crawford of Lincoln, NB, passed away peacefully, September 15, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital after a brief battle with cancer. Garth was the son of the late Evelyn Crawford. He was born in Fredericton and lived most of his life in Oromocto, NB. Garth graduated from New Brunswick Community College, Saint John Campus, Chemical Engineering and was employed with New Brunswick Forestry Products, IT Technologies Inc. and most recently excelled in direct sales with Avis Budget Group. He enjoyed hunting, was an avid bass fisherman, great gardener, gourmet cook and had a great appetite for computers and active in wheelchair basketball. Garth is survived by brother, Bob (Carolyn) Thompson, Maple Ridge, NB; sisters, Myrna Thompson, Toronto, ON and Sandra Crawford of Halifax, NS; sister-in-law, Myrna Kelly of Fredericton, NB and several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Besides his mother, Garth was predeceased by his brother, Monty Kelly of Fredericton, NB. Visitation will be held at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Friday, September 19, 2008 from 12 noon until 2 pm followed by a Memorial Service to give thanksgiving for the life of Garth with Rev. Brent MacDonald officiating. Interment will take place in Bear Island Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances made in Garth's memory to the New Brunswick SPCA, Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor's choice.
