FRASER, ESTHER ADENA The passing of Esther Adena Fraser of Keswick, NB, wife of Austin Fraser, occurred on Thursday, September 25th, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on August 31st, 1927 in Keswick Ridge, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Evelyn (Knox) Timmins. She was a retired post mistress of Canada Post. Esther was a member of the Keswick Ridge United Church, UCW, Past Grand of the Imperial Rebecca Lodge 102. In addition to her husband, Esther is survived by one son, Douglas (Sheila Martin) of Fredericton, NB; grandson, Carl Gruben-Fraser of NWT; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Esther was predeceased by her sons, Paul, Carl and Edwin; sisters, Ruth Messer, Alma Currie and Jean McCullough; brother, Owen Timmins. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Saturday, September 27, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Keswick Ridge United Church on Sunday, September 28, 2008 at 2 pm with Rev. Dr. Amos Adeniyi and Rev. Boyce Martin officiating. Pallbearers for the service are Robert Waite, Don Toole, Paul and Wayne Griffiths, Jim Hay and Wayne MacNeil; Honourary Pallbearers are Nina Griffiths, Kay Holyoke, Hilda Miller and Bernice Ripley. Interment will take place in Keswick Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stoke Foundation of New Brunswick would be appreciated by the family.
